Have you ever felt like there just isn’t enough time in the day to do everything on your to-do list — or even the things you want to do?
That was me about three weeks ago.
I came back from a two-week vacation and was instantly surrounded by chaos — laundry piles, stacks of mail, client calls, school activities, and endless errands. I felt like I was chasing time instead of living in it.
Then one morning, I said it out loud: “Something has to change — and change starts with me.”
I picked up the phone, called my trusted cleaning lady, and decided to do a full home reset. While she cleaned, I released.
I let go of items that no longer served a purpose, things I was holding onto out of habit, guilt, or “maybe someday.” Every drawer, every shelf, every closet got a dose of honesty.
And the result? It felt exhilarating. Like a breath of fresh air for both my home and my spirit.
I even tackled my closet — two full bags of clothes gone. Pieces that no longer represented who I am today.
When we were done, I felt new. My home felt new. There was space, clarity, simplicity, and peace.
That’s when it hit me: simplicity isn’t boring — it’s beautiful. It’s the path to calm, freedom, and more time for what truly matters.
By simplifying your life, you reduce stress, tension, and the constant feeling of never having enough time.
So, my question for you is this:
What’s one small thing you can do every day to simplify your life?
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Meditate for 10 minutes
Read something inspiring
Purge one drawer, one shelf, or one surface
Take a nap (yes, I said it — naps are magic!)
Sort through your junk mail and toss what you don’t need
It only takes one small action, one new behavior a day, to create a life that feels lighter and more aligned.
Because real change doesn’t happen overnight — it starts with a single choice.
With much love and light,
